David Salzano (Past Speaker)

David Salzano has more than 30 years of restaurant industry experience.  He has worked in a multitude of roles ranging from multi-unit manager to culinary director before joining sweetgreen in March 2019 as the Director of Operations Services.  He oversees the governance, planning, and implementation of all operations facing initiatives.  David works closely with all cross-functional groups to bring ideas to implementation ensuring successful adop tion.  Known as a champion to operations he strategically balances the needs of the business to innovate quickly without sacrificing quality of operations. David holds an MBA from Norwich University and leverages his studies in project and operations management to build disciplines within organizations around strategic planning and execution.
