Kim Dinsmoore (Past Speaker)

In 2018, Kim was promoted to Vice President of Operations and later that year traveled to Taipei to open the restaurant group’s second international location. With the company’s recent global expansion, Kim has played an essential role spearheading the operation of all of the domestic and international restaurant openings – in areas of talent acquisition, front of house service standards, training and employee development and guest experience, as well as a key part of food and beverage program development. As a result of her leadership in market operations and openings domestically and abroad, the Group has been able to successfully provide the American steakhouse experience that Smith & Wollensky has been long known for. With every location, affinity for and reception to the iconic steakhouse brand continues to grow stronger.

Seeing people grow and develop always inspires Kim to continue to teach and expand the next generation of staff and managers at Smith & Wollensky. When she’s not traveling the globe for work, Kim still enjoys taking a trip to a new city or country in her personal time, and spending the day at the beach.
