Sean Thompson (Past Speaker)

Sean Thompson is IT Director for the fast-casual restaurant franchise Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers.  He oversees the business intelligence and data science team, as well as the execution of Freddy’s global communications platforms.  Thompson and his team work to deliver technology solutions to more than 340 Freddy’s restaurants as well as the franchise support teams including construction, training, marketing, accounting, and operations.  Recent system-wide projects have included a network transition to Meraki, conversion to a single digital menu board provider, and the launch of EMV. Prior to Freddy’s, Thompson ran his is own consulting company and Managed Service Provider. In his free time, Thompson enjoys serving as a cub scout volunteer and coaching youth sports.
